The Perfect Symmetry

There is life as there is death
Love as well as hate
separated by so thin a line
The perfect symmetry
There are choices culminating in consequence
Mere mortals and God immortal, a sequence
Certainly, certainty exists and so does doubt
We choose how to live our lives
seeking assistance from the Immortal and mortals
Choices that won’t break the perfect symmetry no matter how fatal
Your life hangs on the balance they’ve said
but there is no balance just a perfect symmetry
Be you selfish or selfless
you will never be both
Everything has a time and a season
A time to plant and one to reap
A time to laugh as well as one to cry
A time to sing and a time to mourn
No blurred lines
The perfect symmetry
