Kindred Spirit

A kind heart is a delight,

The kind that is hard to find,

Rare as gemstones,

O’er and beyond it,

Nothing matches.

I found it by chance,

It got me smitten,

Magnetised to that kind field

And i was glued.

Nothing else mattered.

My susceptible heart drew it all in,

I fed on kindness and flourished,

My dream finally a reality,

A dream that didn’t end in the morn’

A waking dream, my reality.

His was a generous heart,

A big heart of gold,

An understanding mind,

As said, a kind soul

Cutely packaged and sealed by ribbons,

A kindred spirit.

A silent heart throb who shies away from too much attention, likes to read (nothing beats it) and is on a quest of self discovery.
